Our team of expertly trained garage door service technicians comes to you to conduct routine monthly and semi-annual tests that will keep your garage doors in proper working order! Some of the tests you can count on us to conduct include:
Our expert will inspect the garage door springs, cables, rollers, pulleys, and mounting hardware, such as hinges, to look for signs of wear or damage. Our qualified technician will look for cable wear or fraying, ensure whether or not the mounting hardware is becoming loose, and if we notice something doesn’t look quite right or doesn’t sound quite right it could be the symptom of a more serious issue.
If your door is equipped with an automatic opener system, our qualified service technician will close the door and disconnect the automatic opener and lift the door manually. It should lift smoothly with little resistance and should remain fully open. If it is difficult to open or does not remain open, the door may be out of balance and required service.
Our expert service technician will test to ensure this reversing mechanism and the photo-eye are properly functioning. Garage door openers manufactured after January 1, 1993, are required by federal law to be equipped with a reversing mechanism and a photo eye or edge sensor as added measures of safety to prevent entrapment. If your system does not have these features, replacement of your automatic operating system is recommended especially if you have small children or pets.
Twice a year, call upon the help of our service technicians to apply a small amount of spray lubricant to the door’s hinges, rollers, and tracks.
